This charming absurdist comedy directed by Luis Buñuel‘s son pairs Catherine Deneuve (8 years after Belle du Jour) with the formidable Fernando Rey (2 years after The Discrete Charm of the Bourgeoisie). A light surrealist touch, some visual sleight of hand and brilliantly acted. I would love to be able to read Deneuve‘s character, Francoise Leroy‘s book ‘Secret’.
